TAXI

A taxi service from Fiumicino Airport or Ciampino Airport can be directly arranged by e-mail with the Hotel Villa Vecchia (e-mail: villavecchia@laminhotels.com). Multiple occupancy is possible and can be arranged by the Hotel Staff on the basis of the arrival times. We recommend that you contact the Hotel with sufficient advance (at least one week).

In your e-mail please specify: name, participation at the iCHAT 2024 Conference, number of customers, flight details (flight number, arrival time, terminal number), payment mode (cash or credit card, (cash payments are entitled a discount on the rates as indicated below)), a mobile phone number where the taxi driver can eventually reach you and your willingness to share a taxi.

Taxi Rates (all taxes included)

from/to Fiumicino Airport (40-60 min trip) 1-3 passengers 75 EUR (70 EUR cash); 4-7 passengers 95 EUR (90 EUR cash)

from/to Ciampino Airport (20-30 min trip) 1-3 passengers 45 EUR (40 EUR cash); 4-7 passengers 60 EUR (55 EUR cash)

Taxis can be also found at Fiumicino Airport or Ciampino Airport. Indicative rates are 80-90 EUR and 40-50 EUR, respectively. It is however advisable to ask in advance to the driver the rate from the Airport to Frascati (Hotel Villa Vecchia or Hotel Villa Tuscolana) .

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

From Fiumicino Airport take the direct train “Leonardo Express” to Roma Termini station departing every 30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the Airport train station (vending machines or news stand: rate 14 EUR, 31 min trip). Trains to Frascati are then available at Roma Termini station (rate 2.10 EUR, 30 min trip). A taxi, to be arranged with the Hotel Villa Vecchia, can then pick you up at Frascati Train Station (1-3 passengers 10 EUR; 4-7 passengers 15 EUR). Please arrange pick up with the Hotel staff when departing from Termini station.

Roma Termini station can also be reached from Fiumicino Airport by taking a Terravision bus (rate 6 EUR, 55 min trip, timetable). Tickets can be purchased online on the Terravision web site.

CAR

From Fiumicino and Ciampino Airport, take the “Grande Raccordo Anulare” and then the exit Anagnina-Tuscolana (exit Nr. 21-22, direction Frascati). Drive until the first exit (Monteporzio Catone) and then follow the directions for the Hotel Villa Vecchia or Hotel Villa Tuscolana.
